As the fox said in The Little Prince, "You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed." I only understood the meaning of these words so wholeheartedly when I became a dog owner myself. Since childhood I have been active, responsible and patient, but it was only when a dog came into the family that these qualities went to a whole new level - going for walks not only when you want, but also in the early morning and late evening hours, even when it's raining or you just don't feel like it! Plan trips, work trips and holidays so that my best four-legged friend also feels safe, comfortable and well! I learned for myself that ruined shoes and peed carpets bother me much less than when my dog is feeling unwell. There are so many things I have learnt and it has all come with a bonus of happiness and unconditional love. I believe that those who bring us so much joy deserve the very best from us. I feel very good with animals, maybe because, like them, I like simple and pleasant things - long walks in the fresh air, good food and cuddles! I am very familiar with that "worried parent" feeling when you have to leave your pet for someone to look after, so I promise to look after, walk, feed, cuddle and comfort your pet as responsibly and sincerely as I do my own dog. Agreeing with the client I can bring my own dog - a friendly, 4-year-old French bulldog boy (not neutered, very active and sometimes jealous of other pets I babysit, but we are working on this :) ) *Day and 24-hour petsitting can be arranged by prior arrangement at the client's place only.
